Last updated: October 2026

  • We only collect personal information that you choose to submit to us
  • We do not sell or distribute your information to any third party
  • We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your data

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect personal information only when you submit it to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, or message through a form, a planning guide request, or an appointment request. We use it to respond to you and to communicate with you about our services, including by email or direct mail about seminars that may interest you.

When you visit our website, we also automatically collect basic information about your visit, such as your browser type, your device, the pages you view, and how you found our site. We use cookies and similar technologies, including tools from HubSpot, our marketing and client relationship platform, to understand how our website is used and to improve it. These tools may recognize you if you return to our site or submit a form. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but turning them off may affect how some parts of our website work.

We store your information securely, using HubSpot and other service providers who have agreed not to sell or distribute it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not run advertising on our website, and we do not share your information with anyone else for their marketing purposes.

Email and Text Messages

If you provide us your email address, whether by filling out a form, requesting a planning guide, attending an event, or becoming a client, we may send you marketing emails and newsletters with estate planning tips, firm news, invitations to seminars and events, and information about our services. We send them using HubSpot, which may record whether you open an email and which links you click, so we can learn which information is most helpful.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us using the details below. We will honor your request promptly. Unsubscribing does not stop us from sending you messages about your legal matter if you are a client.

If you give us your mobile number when you schedule an appointment, we may send you text message reminders about your appointment. We do not use text messages for marketing. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Confidentiality and Disclosures

As attorneys, we are bound by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar and the attorney-client privilege to keep your information confidential. We do not disclose private personal information about clients or former clients except as described here.

We may disclose personal or confidential information when required or permitted by applicable law or the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, such as when responding to a valid court order or when necessary to prevent certain crimes or serious harm.

To complete the work you engaged us to do, we share your information with our employees. We may also need to share it with outside providers who assist us, such as an accountant, an appraiser, or a life insurance professional. We do this only with your written permission.

We keep records of the services we provide, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect client information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that your information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this policy.

Sending us a message or submitting a form on our website does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship begins only when we agree to represent you, usually through a signed engagement agreement. Until then, please do not send us confidential information, such as financial account numbers, through a form or email.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If you have any questions about our privacy policies, please contact us directly.
