Last week, our team had an important mission: coffee, sandwiches, and one last lunch with Izzy before law school.
She picked out a trendy new bistro, the kind with tiny tables, fancy coffee, and a menu with so many delicious options that your mouth starts to water a little.
It was a going-away celebration for Izzy, our incredible signing coordinator, who is heading off to law school (because apparently, she wants even more paperwork in her life).
Then the phone rang.
A client had an urgent need. One of those moments where life suddenly becomes real, decisions feel heavy, and people simply need help right away.
Without hesitation, half our team stayed behind to take care of the client while the rest headed to lunch.
Not because anyone was told to.
Not because it was convenient.
But because that’s who we are.
And honestly? That moment perfectly captured the mission of our firm.

We suspect the answer is yes.
